Safety and Social Distancing

The safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff is our top priority and as such we are abiding by a number of recommendations and guidelines. We have set out some key points below so that you know what to expect when you visit.

Things are going to be a bit different from your usual visit so please bear with us while we all get used to this new way of trading. We would very much appreciate your understanding while we implement these important new measures. It is really important that if you are exhibiting any symptoms whatsoever of Covid 19, we would kindly ask you not to visit the store under any circumstances.

The garden centre will be open at 9.00am but will close a little earlier at 4.30pm (Monday to Saturday) to give us time to prepare for the following day and to process customer orders. We will open as usual on Sundays from 10.30 till 4.30pm. Please note that in line with government restrictions, our café will remain closed until further notice.

To enable both staff and customers to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we will be restricting the number of customers in our store at any one time so please be prepared to queue in the car park during busy times, while others finish their shopping.

Anyone wishing to purchase plants will be able to access the plant area directly through an alternative entrance.

All customers will be asked to sanitise their hands before entering our store. Sanitising spray and wipes are available to clean trolleys and baskets

A maximum of two people from any one household will be allowed into the store at any one time

Please respect social distancing guidelines and stay 2 metres apart from staff members and other customers at all times  whilst in the car park and inside the store

To minimise unnecessary contact, we will only be accepting card payments until further notice. Our contactless payment limit has been increased to £45. Increased safety measures such as Perspex screens and wider aisles have been installed at our checkouts.

Certain places around the centre don’t allow for adequate social distancing. Where this is the case, we have introduced one-way systems which we would ask you to kindly respect.

For those of you who are still unable to shop in person we are still operating a local delivery service.
