Join us in celebrating 120 years of Goulds

It’s been 120 years since Harold and Florence Gould opened the first Goulds store in Dorchester back in 1902.

Four generations later, Goulds are still proudly running the family business, serving the local community from two stores in South Street, Dorchester and the Garden Centre in Weymouth.

The Garden Centre became part of the Goulds story in 1997 when the family purchased the freehold of Humphries Garden Centre at Preston, Weymouth, covering a 7-acre site and employing around 25 staff. In 2000, Anthony, Roger’s son, became the first member of the fourth generation of the family to join the business in the Garden Centre.
